In which Kassandra faces the consequences of her actions, while also having to deal with Deimos once and for all.

Kyra knew: that Kassandra was immortal, that Kassandra had kept it from her, that Kassandra had lied about it over and over. When the strength deserted Kassandra's arms and legs, she was glad she was already sitting down. "Deimos told you," she said.

"You're damn right she did." The silver circle hanging below Kyra's throat rose and fell as she breathed, her eyes flashing.
