As Oyuki led the dye-master and her family to safety away from the underground prison that had once held them captive, the first thing she felt was relief. Atsu had rescued them in time—and Oyuki would not see more souls added to the audience of yūrei who watched her every move and filled her nightmares with black-pitted eyes and drooling tongues hanging from jaws of sharp teeth.
